The production facility boasted a variety of capabilities that allowed them to keep a lot of manufacturing processes in-house which was a key competitive advantage that helped the company stand out from the competition. One negative worth mentioning is that decisions were frequently made at a high level to realize short term profitability gains that would ultimately harm the company's ability to ship lower margin products for severely delinquent programs, resulting in unhappy customers exploring alternative sourcing options. These decisions cost the company in the long run."
