What do you like about working at Baker Tilly?
"I like the people. When everyone feels they are getting screwed together - it is a bonding experience."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I think it's a great place to do an internship, becuase you'll make your $20 an hour and hit overtime by Wednesday. However, if you plan on having a family life at all. Trust me when I say you'd be better off at ANY other accounting firms, including big 4 firms."
What don't you like about working at Baker Tilly?
"Unfortunately I could go on forever. I can't explain the number of 90 hour plus weeks I have had. They will work your fingers to the bone. I ended up leaving (still staying in public) and was able to get a a 15% raise and MUCH better hours. They are all about the mighty $, they don't give two S*^$ about you."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Treat your people right and the hard work will follow. I don't think there is much to say, they know they are paying for their mistakes. They must have one of the highest turnover percentages out there right now. Yet there are some partners that are still in denial. Admit you made mistakes, then move on."
What do you like about working at NCO Group?
"The supervisors were extremely competent and were able to provide great mentoring."

"What are the first four months of the year like? What is the interaction of your department with other departments? How many companies are recorded financially?"
What don't you like about working at NCO Group?
"The gaps between the way departments worked together made it difficult to work towards a common goal at times."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The culture in upper management should change, but given the industry it is understandable."

"The knowledge of supervisors was extensive which lead to a great mentoring program. All employees were willing to work together."

"The culture of upper management was difficult to deal with at times, but given the industry it is understandable."

"Promote more competent people and compensate the employees that do the most work better."

"Great team environment and workers are easy to get along with."

"The company provides little room for advancement and has centralized most of its fincance functions out of state."
What don't you like about working at The Morning Call?
"There are multiple programs that have to be learned and they all interact in a difficult manner."

"De-centralization worked and provided more financial information in a timely fashion."

"Great co-workers. Awesome benefits at the office. Lot of great experience in accounting."

"Know that you will worl a lot. If you want a promotion, you will more than likely need to go work at a minein the middle of nowhere."

"Horrible work life balance. To many tasks seem non value added or just work for the sake of doing work."

"Give my employees their life back. Not all people live to work. For many it's the means to an end."

"Be neutral at all times. Do not discriminate the applicants based on their religion, race, gender and age."

"I have nothing against working at the company. I learned a lot from them."

"Continue to uphold its standards and be the best in the business."

"I liked that the owner of Netdesk was always willing to jump in and help with departmental solutions."

"My tip for interviewing with this company would be to make sure you are qualified before sitting in on an interview and to be familiar with what the company does in the area of software training."

"I like the vision that Netdesk promoted. The software trainers were always writing new training manuals to stay current with what the customers wanted."

"My only suggestion to the management at Netdesk would be to listen to your support staff when trying to figure out solutions to problems."
