"No major problems working at Semtech. The atmosphere was tense due to the nature of the business and company commitments but the overall working conditions were acceptable."

"Management has changed since I left the company and I would suggest no changes since their present business is moving in the right direction."
"I was only employed by Semtech for six months, but due to a company-wide lay off I was let go. During my six months there I really enjoyed my job, going to work, and being a part of Semtech mission. I really had a strong passion to do my best work there, and I was doing rather well, just an unfortunate situation that I was let go."

"The technology was pretty good, facilities were good, some of the people were good, but even the good ones were stressed out and paranoid because if you don't fall in line and drink the Kool-Aid, you are one step from being laid off."

"If you are interviewing, as them last time they did a company-wide salary increase for salaried employees, and ask them how many weeks of vacation did they force in the current and/or prior year."
What don't you like about working at Semtech?
"No across the board salary increase for salaried employees in years. They make unreasonable budget goals, then force vacation to lower expenses, but do not cut the workload, so end up taking time off and working from home."

"Stop thinking you are the smartest person in the room."
