"Great resources, but an uneven focus between front and back office."

What do you like about working at Sempra Energy?

"Most of my coworkers were wonderful people to work with. There was a lax environment for the most part, allowing most to work comfortably without feeling like they were constantly being watched."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"When interviewing for SES, it is best to ensure your skills with Excell, Word, Outlook and SharePoint are all at least at moderate levels. However, to any who are emotionaly sensitive or whom have high moral standards, this may not be the best environment for you."

What don't you like about working at Sempra Energy?

"Management was too focused on their own image, often resulting in a finger-pointing contest whenever errors or problems would arise, instead of focusing on what the root-cause of the problem was, and how to best avoid it from repeating in the future."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management should always strive to bring out the best in their staff. Finding what motivates and strengthens the performance of their team, while also providing guidance and support as it pertains to resources and tools which will help their team work more efficiently and more accurately."
