"I've worked for Schlumberger since 2006 and have always been treated fairly. The ability to advance is highly dependent on meeting objectives and completing milestones. I have been offered many opportunities and worked with some excellent people and under the merit bonus/raise system. I do recommend this company."

"I did not like that my job depended upon the price of oil. I was laid off because of low oil prices."

"Long work hours and remote locations for long periods of time made the work/life balance hard to keep. Bureaucracy that limits productivity and effectiveness causes reactive behavior to problems instead of approaching problems proactively."
