"lots of overtime otherwise it’s dead-end work"
"I have worked for the SBA for 1 year and have found the experience to be a great one. The organizational culture is one that encourages development, creativity, and fosters growth. My team leads have helped me grow personally and professional, and for that I will be forever grateful."
"Great place to work for! Plenty of room for growth and future opportunities with a government agency!"
"Through my years with the SBA, I have seen business rise from the very start of an idea to achieving their dream of owning a small business. During my time there, I worked with a very dedicated and committed team, From March of 2020 until the present, we rolled out the largest economic recovery programs through the use of the Paycheck Protection Program, During this time, I was continuously adapting to the ever changing regulations, policies and procedures of the program, Although I feel my time at the SBA, there was limited opportunity to continue to work remotely"
"I have worked with SBA on and off in different positions. I love this company and I can’t wait for them to give me the opportunity to become a permanent employee. Great atmosphere, excellent co workers and great benefit and let’s not forget excellent moral."
"Great organization and friendly co-workers to work with."
"I've worked remotely for the Small Business Administration as a Loan Processor for 11 months now, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I enjoyed the fast pace of my work, analyzing financial documents and working remotely. I enjoyed my supervisors and learned about various SBA processes that will further my career."
"I enjoy my work and it is a good place to work"
"I have worked for SBA Office of Disaster Assistance, on and off, since 2013 processing/underwriting loans for homes and business affected by natural disasters such as fire and hurricanes and now for business affected by the COVID epidemic. SBA has an extensive training program and proper tools to get off the ground running. The trainers are very accessible while you are learning and then once on a Team, your team is great in answering questions. The hours are long, so it may not be the job for everyone but the pay is good and you know your are helping others each and every day. I would recommend working here if you are looking for a good temporary contract job."
"I am currently a contractor for the SBA. I enjoy my career with them but it is a short term contract."
"I was presented an opportunity to work for the Small Business Administration as a Loan Processor as soon as I graduate from college. I have encountered many applicants that have told me I saved their company and their lives by reviewing applications thoroughly. The job is easy to follow and produce."
"I enjoyed working for the SBA, the company is very supportive of its workers."
"As a new and temporary employee, my experience is limited with SBA. However, communication with my immediate supervisor is constant and amendable. The training was the best I've ever received from an organization and the equipment provided is very good."
"It’s complicated. And I am extremely loyal. My word is my bond. I took a federal oath and found it ethically challenging to keep my word and approve 99% of EISL RAPID COVID Disaster Relief Loan Application (all filed into or before January 31st, 2020)."
"I have only worked for SBA for only a month so far. The training is very good."
