"I have worked for Savers which is the largest for profit thrift operation in North America. It has a great management team and full support of two private equity owners. The business has over 300 stores in US, Canada and Australia. I have assisted the companies with internal controls, financial structure and standards and have led the various strategic transformation initiatives that include pricing, logistics, distribution network and efficiency in General and Administrative costs."

"The managers really don't care about you that much. Some of them are bossy and rude, then they wonder why you talk to the supervisors more than them. The coworkers are nice and fun to be with, but sometimes don't do their job unless you ask them. Monday's are chaotic and customers really don't care about you unless they're regulars. Manager's don't really do anything when a customer yells at you or is rude to you right in front of them. They don't trust employees and focus more on workers when it comes to stealing than customers. I watched someone walk out with a DVD player after arguing with a supervisor and the supervisor didn't call the cops because the store manager told her not to. You don't get rewarded at all for working from any manager which isn't when you're the only one really working and trying to get your job done."

"Savers as a company has been going downhill in this last year, I have worked here for 3 years, as it is paying less attention to the well-being of the employees and more to its profit and investors."
