"My team at Samsung was awesome, but the technical aspect of the work was not challenging or stimulating to the brain, hence I had to move forward."
What do you like about working at Samsung?
"The people I worked with in diffusion were great to work with. The benefits and bonuses were probably the best compared to other companies."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do your homework. If you like working 60-70 hours a week and have no personal life, this is the place for you."
What don't you like about working at Samsung?
"There was no separation from work and personal life. PTO was virtually impossible to use. Starting pay was good but almost impossible to get a promotion, or when you did get a promotion they would tell you that you would not see an increase in pay."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop hiding behind Korean management. If you ask someone if they can work on their day off and they say no, do not tell them okay, and then on their next day into work you write them up for not being a team player, even though it was always the same people working and the people in the management's INNER CIRCLE were never there."
"Samsung is a good company to work with, with good exposure to latest technology."
