"I enjoyed the times when we saw the gifts shared by dnors and could see specific results. I had a great TEAM and seeing them regularly was a highlight of my career and seeing their personal success."

"Here are some tips: realize most of those with whom you work are very nice people with a high school education and have graduated from The College for Officer Training ( all taught by currect or former Officers). Like anywhere else you may interview, they will understand what they know and be hesitant to accept new theories or activities."

"The hurtful expressions often shared by upper level management. The unwillingness to see the rules and not wanting them enforced for everyone in the same manner and then others jumping you for being loose with the corporate rules."

"When they hire professionals whoim have specific training, allow them to do their jobs. Understand there is one set of rules and encourage everyone to follow and support what's prepared or request the formal change."

"Too much nepotism. Too much cronyism. Majority of officers in senior management are arrogant and incompetent. Staff takes the blame and suffer the cuts in pay and benefits because of DFB mis-management. Absolutely toxic environment."

"Either put officers in charge that are going to be effective leaders or get out of the way and let competent staff run the Division."
