"Salient Federal is a good company."
"Great."
"I have been working with Salient-fed over 2 years and I have found this is company with very good ethical values and an emphasis on customer retention."
"When I first moved to my current position the company was called List Inc. It was a small company with about 100 employees. They treated their employees VERY well and bent over backwards for them. I NEVER heard someone say a negative comment about management and I have been in the "game" for 13 years so that shows how impressive they were. About a year and a half ago they were bought out by Salient Federal Solutions. The environment changed and it just wasn't a good place to work anymore."
"The company is good but advancement is very, very poor. I love training soldiers, marines, airmen, and other DoD affiliations. But the only thing I don't like is the pay. If the pay was better I would definitely stay at my job."
"Very good company to work for. Very good compensation and benefits program. Short notice on lay off, with is usually the case with Government contracts so maybe you can not really blame them for that one. Good communication throughout company although it is a very large company. CEO sends out monthly statements letting employees know exactly where company stands on certain projects and overall."
"I have worked with Salient Federal Solutions for over 2 years. This company gives me the freedom to take charge and work with the vendor to determine the best way to solve issues and problems not covered in the contract that will have impact on production."
"Salient was an excellent employer, they treated me well. My supervisor was great and we had a great IT team. I would work for them again anytime. I worked there as a contractor. The commute wasn't ideal, but it was worth it for the job."
"Evenly balanced, positive company to work with. Recommended."
"I found that overall the leadership at the remote location I worked out lacked ethics and leadership. Overall I think the company is average but the small section that I worked at served only to tarnish the image and business sense of the overall company."
"Working with the HR team is challenging."
