"I love working in sales and marketing - it is my passion and I have been successful at it for over 20 years. I have worked for great companies, like Walt Disney World and I have worked at horrible companies like Holiday Retirement. What I have discovered is that being a great sales leader depends on the product your offer and the people who work with you. If both are good, you will be successful."

"I love the responsibility of running my team and the reward of helping everyone realize their goals and succeed. The work load is significant but it is 10 times more rewarding than simply managing my business daily. I have more input in office matters and important decisions and my opinion carries more weight. There is honestly nothing I hate about being a Team Lead. I get more late calls for my teammates work-related issues and I have to do more micro-managing but this is to be expected. My work is more fulfilling as a Team Lead and I hope to use this experience to move into upper management in the near future."

"Arrive on time for your interview, always smile, and definitely compliment on the store layout and the wonderful fun atmosphere of the store"

"Little opportunity for advancement, Pay is low for a store considered luxury"

"Raise the pay in any way, even if its just by creating more incentives, or higher incentives."

"I like the unlimited earning potential and no caps on commission. The environment is great and the office culture is a work hard/play hard mentality."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't bother interviewing if you are wishy-washy and not fully committed to putting in a lot of effort, with the expectation of making a lot of money. This is not a job for the faint of heart. You have to have thick skin and have to thrive under pressure."
What don't you like about working at Total Quality Logistics?
"Not everyone succeeds in this job, but with a lot of hard work (staying late, making a lot of calls, building your network of customers) you can see a 6-figure income within a couple years of starting."

"Continue to do what you are doing. Continue to enter into new markets to give salespeople other areas to push for leads/freight."

"The opportunity for growth is amazing. I haven't experienced anything like it before coming here. The atmosphere is young and energetic."

"Be honest with yourself with what you're looking for in a company. The inside sales role here isn't a good fit for everyone. TQL lays everything out on the table during the interview process. Do not be afraid to dive in deeper to questions that arise along the way."

"Being on call 24/7 is integral to achieving a high level of success. However, the night calls can be tiresome."

"Continue to put the emphasis on employee growth and development. It's the great driving force that keeps TQL smashing records!"

"The business as a whole doesn't know what direction to take to stay in the running for company business. Need commission."

"Work on your turn off rate of employee. Work on getting ft for employees that are worth keeping."

"Smart people, exciting technology, a solutions culture, great benefits, it's huge - you can find an expert in anything."

"Teamwork and collaboration is a must. You need to be an innovator but not in isolation."

"It's huge - you can get lost in the hugeness. Sometimes its reputation gets in the way of understanding."

"Make more time for coaching staff and mentoring individuals who seek out that support."

"Incredible company benefits, autonomy, control over schedule, excellent managers and leaders, strong financial performance."

"Negotiate everything. Don't settle for the first $ offer. Drive the on-boarding process yourself as it's generally poorly executed by HR."
What don't you like about working at General Electric?
"With 300,000 employees, it's difficult not to feel like a number. Regardless of loyalty or performance, when re-alignments occur it's last in, first out. That's why I'm here now!"

"Ensure that we are keeping as many jobs in the US as possible."

"Keep your motivation high even in times were you may get frustrated, and always put the customers first because without them you have no business"

"After being in the business for 6+ years I was interested in doing something different with in the company but never got the opportunity, but was interviewed."

"Be prepared to work everyday and never stop building your business. Always have a plan b and keep in constant contact with every customer interaction and sale you make. Refferals are huge in sales, so always make a good inpression and never sale a customer something they will not use or need"

"Currently they do not offer benefits, I have a child and without health benefits I am on my own to provide this coverage"

"Defintely would suggest them weighing the idea of offering there employees health coverage"
