What do you like about working at Russound?
"There is a lot of flexibility working at this company. At one point, we were growing fast, and IT department was given a lot of resources and chance to explore new technology. One reason I spent the last 12 years here."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"none. Each department head that is interviewing are looking for different things. They all are very different and have control of who they like to hire so it is very hard to have a general tips. Since there is no HR department in this company, resume go directly to the department head."
What don't you like about working at Russound?
"The company has shrunk quite a bit in the last 4 years due to the decline in new housing sales which we are tied with. This also cause a lot of ripple effect including freezing of salaries, cutting of people, no budget for the department and no more training."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Know how to use your people. Take politics out as it is ruining a good company"
