Impossible to rise above because owner stands in his own way. He is belittling to everyone, including his family that works there. Products are great, but enter at your own risk. There are better gigs out there."

This micro management also leads to a high turnover, as a result your workload is always extremely high as well. No one sticks around long enough to to help manage the workload. The owner, and his wife who also works there, always are commenting about the lack of sales and cash flow coming into the business, but have no issues in flaunting and keeping their affluent lifestyle. "Throughout the interview process, everyone was friendly and outspoken. Meeting with the owner for 2 interviews and about 4 hours of "non-paid" shadowing a sales rep to see the programs and process. Then the owner will promise the world with an offer letter. I had accepted the position as it seemed to be a terrific opportunity. The key word here is "seemed". I have worked and been extremely successful at a number of different companies throughout the years. I value when a company has a set process, rules and structure. RubberForm had none of these qualities. Within being there 1 week I had made a number of sales only to watch 2 people leave the company because they couldn't stand it. My 2 months of employment with RubberForm was 2 months too long and a waste of time. In 2 months I watched close to 10 people leave the company. I have never been screamed at, belittled and disrespected at a "professional" job until I worked for RubberForm. If I am working, I expect to be compensated for my time. I believe any employee would feel the same way. The owner had always suggested to the sales team to "do some work on our time" aka... work for free and not spend time with your family on your days off. Certain processes are broken and illegal hiding of fees inside of quotes that are sent out to companies, distributors and contractors. If the quotes were not completed in that fashion, they were done incorrectly. In sales you never know what sales and accounts you will actually get to keep. There was a high amount of case by case basis sales that did not count towards quotas. When the owner is confronted and asked why the sales didn't count, the response given is, "Hey, it's a win for RubberForm. " This company has a good product. That's about the only good thing I can say. If you enjoy hearing and being screamed at with no job security surrounded by high turnover, give them a shot. The owner will sweet talk you and promise the world. You have been warned."
