"I am just trying to save anyone reading this review from spending time purchasing this company. First off there is a hint of sexism and major racism at this company. There are certain people that are allowed to get away with backstabbing fellow employees. Even certain managers exhibited this behavior. You may encounter not having work a strong majority of the time after you have been there a reasonable amount of time. Oh and most important of all is you may find it hard to leave the company. You see they have a relationship with recruiting firms like TEKsystems. Recruiting firms like TEKsystems have what is called an applicant tracking system (ATS). The applicant tracking does exactly as the name suggests. A recruiter can track a job seeker throughout the job process from initial interview to final offer. All this is done by the unique information on ones resume. So if a recruiter chooses to interfere with the hiring process they can perform this action. Actions such as sharing interview information with current or previous employers in order to sabotage ones chances at employment. Trust me save yourself time and heartache by not seeking employment with this company."

"They pretend that the culture of this business is that they are all a 'team'. They are not. On my first day in the field, I was immediately met with disrespect from the OS, clique-ish behavior, and the want for brown-nosing because butt-kissing white women is the ONLY way to survive this job. The people in the other reviews are either white women or liars. The bad reviews actually reflect this company and their culture. My second day I was lied on that I threatened my OS, when that did not work to get me fired, the OS decided she would attempt to seat me in the furthest corner so that I would not be able to hear important information. I quit. I had enough. Now currently, my FS decided she would use my entire last paycheck to pay medical that I will not have next month, pretended she could not see my expense report, and will not explain how this happened (on purpose). If you are a black woman, DO NOT waste your time. I am not the only one this is happening to. A young Black lady I left behind is experiencing worse because she would not quit. If you don't quit they continuously lie on you, I dont know who are worst, the coworkers or the management. I will be filing a complaint with the EEOC."

"I worked for RTI for 2 years. RTI is a tier 1 company supplying automotive parts to several automotive companies. RTI is a good employer for people who like to work in an environmentally controlled atmosphere. Employees must be able to stand for entire shifts to complete their assignments. There are many opportunities to work overtime if a person chooses. Located in Rainsville, Alabama."

"I started at RTI as a contractor with my own company KV Engineering, LLC. they didn't want to lose me so they hired me full time in 2017. I have been designing EMI boards and packaging with injection molded and sheet metal enclosures. It's too bad with the corona-19 they don't think they will make it. I was the only Mechanical Engineer for the whole company since 2015."

"Working with RTI since the beginning of 2019. It has been a very fun experience where I am able to meet new people on an everyday basis. I gather research and then give it to my company."

"I have heard from those who worked at RTI, that in years past it was a good company to work for. Not so today... there is a lack of integrity, a lack of honesty, breaches in confidentiality by managers and by the company. Managers and company talk out of both sides of their mouths... and they ask/tell you to falsify documentation despite the fact that you are attesting to the accuracy on your time card, "I certify that this report is true and accurately reflects time and expenses actually worked or incurred." They lie about the statistics despite the fact that you have the records electronically in front of you. Expectations are inconsistent, and often unachievable... you must work 20-25 hours per week, but you are not given 20-25 hours to do. I accepted this position with the understanding that the cases would be assigned by quarter, that there would be 20-25 hours per week until the third quarter and that there would be some night time work and some weekend work. I have NEVER been given 20-25 worth of work. When I reminded the supervisor of this conversation, I was told we would be given 20-25 hours per week IF there was work. Blatant lie. I've completed the majority of my work within 3 days of the first quarter and I am a higher than average performer, with lower than average costs. They are ALWAYS hiring (with a 500 referral bonus) because the environment is so unhealthy that normal people do not stay. The ones that do stay have very low self esteem and based on my observations, behave similar to those people in domestic abuse situations that are afraid to leave. Same goes here except it is corporate abuse. If you are desperate enough to take a job with RTI, document everything. Check your state laws regarding recording phone conversations because it is during these conversations that the lying begins, and there is no one, except for yourself who can/will defend you if you were simply doing what the boss told you that you MUST do."
