3 Equipment Services Project Managers from Ronco submitted salaries.
Ronco is a company based in the USA specializing in the manufacture and sale of practical items, devices and new inventions designed to make working in the kitchen easier. Founded in the early 1960s by Ron Popeil, the company takes its name from Popeils' nickname of "Ronco". Popeil's father Samuel developed many of the clever inventions marketed and sold by the company in its early days, including the popular Veg-O-Matic Machine and the Popeil Pocket Fisherman.
After several decades of successfully serving as the company's main spokeman, pitchman and inventor, Ron Popeil sold the business in 2005 for $55 million to Fi-Tek VII which continued to operate under the Ronco name. In the summer of 2007, Ronco filed for bankruptcy reorganization, with Popeil the largest creditor at $32.7 million. Acquired by CD3 Holdings in 2011, the company is now headquartered in Austin, Texas and operates as Ronco Holdings, Inc, employing slightly more than 100 people.
Although original founder and pitchman Ron Popeil is now semi-retired, he still maintains an active presence with the company, which has produced more than $2 billion in sales over the past four decades. Its focus continues to be the merchandising, through internet and infomercial TV sales, of high quality housewares for the consumer, ranging from rotisseries to food dehydrators and knife sets.
Senior Software Architect is the highest paying job at Ronco at $126,000 annually.
