"I loved being in charge of the entire kitchen operation relative to food quality, plate presentation, and the training of the staff to meet those expectations of the comapany. I looked forward to controlling inventories, and food orders to make the numbers work from the kitchen."

"I worked about 90 hours a week for Brinker for several years, and I truly got burned out from running at that pace for so long."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Just to make the support structure around the executive chef a little more cohesive, so that the chef can deal with the costing and quality issues of the restaurant."

"I've work for this company for the last 9 years and I think is one of the best companies to work for. Everybody that worked there with me marked my life, you can learn a lot from different points of view and you can have an opinion. I've been thou a lot of positions, and you can have a personal life with this job. You call your co-workers your friends."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Look professional, lot of eye contact, smiles. They are not looking for a military boss, they look for developers and coaches. Be open for anything. You are about to become a babysitter for adults."

What don't you like about working at Romano's Macaroni Grill?

"The hiring from the outside, when you have the people within that can make a better job, because they already know the company. And the fact that the schedules for a manager is very late at night"

"Hire whit-in. Every manager that I know from this company is exceptional at they performance. A more balance manager schedule."

"I don't like how often I work for the few hours that I work. I also do not like how unfair some things are based on who is allowed to do what."

"I would suggest they are fair with how they treat everybody. Everybody should get punished for the same things, and the same appreciation for things."

"be prepared to be on your feet quite a bit, make eye contact and speak clearly to management and patrons"

"Non-professional to my standards. While the food and service are excellent I didn't like the lack of responsibility required."

"Lead better. They're pretty nice for the most part but not the best at demonstrating effective approaches."
