"I worked for Rockstar Games right out of school. I would say it is a great place to start and great place to learn and grow. The only thing potential issue I would see people have is the work hours."

"Great game dev company to work for to gain experience and meet some awesome and genuine co-workers. The leadership at the top is toxic and will curb stomp you for submitting your own ideas. My recommendation: get in and get out. A pit stop on the way to success in the games industry."

"I've worked for the Rockstar San Diego studio for more than 8 years. The projects made here are great for resumes and other job opportunities. There is plenty of talented people working in this studio. But you will have to work your butt off and deal with poor management. The overall compensation you get for the hard work you put in is very poor. If you are looking for a game studio that you want to grow with and move up in the future, this is not the place. Raises are given rarely, 2 to 3 years apart. I recommend any other studio before resorting to this one."
