"The small teams allow for the ability to make your mark in the market you are working in. It's a great resume builder. They have good ideas around their mission statement. (Don't believe them cause they are complete lies.) Start your career with Robert Half, choke down their corporate double talk, then move on to a company that cares about their employees."

"Keep looking, as there are reputable staffing companies."

What don't you like about working at Robert Half?

"They are extremely unethical, and they force this idea that they are ethical above anything else, but it's all lies. They have this crazy metric system based on billed hours rather than money made, which they use to force out people that middle management doesn't like. Example: somebody was fired because he did not have their required hours but was well over the requirement for money brought in for the company, He was the highest grossing and top performer in the office (by far). Oh, plus, he had more hours billed than anybody on the team. Complete insanity."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Replace immediately. They are complete morons."

"Don't settle for their first or second offer. Their markup on your pay is disgusting!!"

"They are only out for themselves!! They will BS you with crap and pretend to be nice and caring, but beware - they are sharks and only out for themselves. If you are desperate for a job, they will eat you alive and will not pay you what you are truly worth!!"

"Try to treat your contractors equally and actually represent them and not yourselves!! You may sleep better at night!"

"Benefits are only available after working a certain number of hours."

"Make benefits available immediately."

"They have a great structure and corporate identity. They treat everyone with respect. There are free online education programs internally. They handle every issue the way it is supposed to be handled, from the 9/11 tragedy to timesheets. Even the executive directors of brands were great to work with directly, and the CEO was a real person who treated everyone well."

"Do it. If it fits in line with what you are trying to accomplish in your career, drop everything and work for them. Short of Google, they may be one of the best places to work anywhere. And you won't likely get laid off as they have no corporate debt."

What don't you like about working at Robert Half?

"It was not in my career field. They are a service company and I desire to work in manufacturing/design/illustration."

"Keep on doing what you do - Max, KSL, all of you."

"You get to work with different clients and meet new people. You also had the opportunity to make your own schedule."

"They like people with a lot of personality."

What don't you like about working at Robert Half?

"You are told that you would have the opportunity to learn and get a lot of experience, but in reality if you do not show the client what you can do and make the extra effort, the assignment could be mindless."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"One of the issues is that the recruiters are just sales people and do not know the accounting and the finance profession, so they really do not match the right consultant with the assignment. They should view the consultants as people more than just a product and maybe the turnover will not be as high."

"There is too much concern on the fit, and not the skill of the consultants on the front line. Improvement is needed in the way they are managed."

"Ask a lot of questions about expectations... how much time will they give you. Ask them why their turnover rate probably leads the entire US corporate economy."

"I dislike the very short leash for people, and if the sales team can't close a door, you pay the price despite your efforts."

"Tell people the truth. Lighten up on the 24/7 performance pressure. Stop the turnover. Do a better job of managing."
