2.5Working as a top level manager is very difficult when your hands are tied.
Other department heads have too much input in areas that they do not share the same level of expertise. Reoprting to the CEO with trivial issues is counterproductive but required, not just daily, but most days it is required hourly.
Management is urged to perform all tasks in the "quickest and cheapest" way possible, and quality is not a concern. "We fix things, we dont replace them!" is what I was told. OSHA standards are not even considered here.
Respect is not something you will encounter and expletives are plentiful.
