"I have worked for The Ritz Carlton Hotel, in Tysons corner-VA for 7 years in the accounting department, I have to manage all positions in the office such as account payable, account receivable, income auditor, Payroll, and I was nominated 5 stars employee of the year"
"very great company and location to be apart of. associates are taken care of to the highest degree"
"Offers an opportunity to fine-tune your customer service skills."
"I have worked at the ritz carlton for a little over a year, and have been employed by the company previously in 2015 as a summer valet attendant. The ritz carlton is a great place to start a career and if you desire to move up in hospitality then the ritz is your place. I want more though, in terms of person to person interaction, moving up in the company and no cap on the income I can produce."
"I’ve worked at the Ritz-Carlton as a supervisor and it has taught me a ton of incredible lessons and left me with customer service skills beyond anywhere I’ve experienced. I would certainly recommend it!"
"Ritz Carlton is truly a place that enlivens guest experiences and create beautiful lifetime memories. They not only do that for their guests, but their employees as we are ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen."
"This was the worst company I've ever worked for. The management is not supportive if you have an issue and there were many. The supervisor included herself in the tip pool which is against CA labor codes. I am still waiting for them to repay the tips taken from me. No integrity at this company. Also no flexibility in schedule."
"I worked for the Ritz Carlton for 3 months. It was extremely disappointing. The company has a motto and an employee promise, neither hold true. Management wasn't helpful or supportive when I saw labor codes being broken. I ended up leaving to save my sanity. I learned that if you are not in the inner circle of the higher ups you mean nothing."
"This is a great company to work for with many possible paths to succeed."
"I have worked for the Ritz-Carlton hotel company for over 10years. They are an amazing company with amazing hotels around the world. Highly recommended."
"I've worked at the Ritz-Carlton for 6 months as a Culinarian. The hotel affords me the opportunity to learn gourmet cooking, and gather experience from a production point-of-view due to me being a leader by nature, education, and work experience. The hotel offers a fast pace environment that enables a person to grow professionally."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It's a great company to have on your resume, but you won't learn great lessons with regard to how a hotel is efficiently managed. Also, it is hard to move up within the actual property. You are better off starting in a role here and then transferring to another property when you'd like to move up."

"The employees are stuck in their ways so it is hard to be more efficient. The leaders act superior and demeaning. There is very little communication regarding company info and updates. Very few of the employees know why things operate the way they do and they don't seem to care enough to ask questions."

What suggestions do you have for management?
"Start over. Hire professionals. Just because the sign says Ritz, doesn't mean your banquet manager who smells bad and really needs an undershirt (and a bra) should be allowed in the building much less be allowed to steal from you."
