"Do not work here! Please!! I have been here 5 years and watched this place tumble down a spiral like a tornado. Every year it has gotten worse. There is no “management”. Underlings must manage the supposed managers. There is no accountability. The regional manager has over $20k of charged credit card transactions without any receipts in over a year since the stores have been responsible for posting. I don’t know how the IRS has not been involved yet but why a $6K transaction for Stein Mart at a motorcycle facility has not been questioned is beyond my pay grade. If you love constant and confusing change, this IS the place for you! We do things one way one day, then totally change it the next, and the next. This is until you don’t know to scratch your watch or wind your backside. THEN as a EXTRA bonus for the accounting department, we decide to totally change the chart of accounts! You are only allowed 15 days to select vacation / PTO time a month and it is only approved if no one else has those days off regardless of position and don’t dare ask for more than 1. Additional bonus… if you don’t use them, you lose them. I could go on and on with the faults of being an employee here… made to feel inadequate, threatened by management, being given too many responsibilities in a short amount of time and not able to complete them because you are human and not a machine.
