"Company let me attend superintendent/project mgr meetings weekly and monthly cost meetings. Company gave me opportunity to learn other areas outside my normal responsibilities, like estimating and costing."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I felt Willbros was a very fair company and gave good opportunities to learn and better ones self. I was overpaid with the experience level I felt I was in. My actual job title should have been Project Controls specialist. ( I did not fill the role of a Project Mgr as they had me listed) I did work hard, many more hours than they expected in order to learn more things outside my area of responsibility."

What don't you like about working at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute?

"That our department was unable to obtain work and was shut down. (one thing that contributed was a death on one of our job sites, although from my viewpoint I felt the company was keenly focused on safety. Another was a decision not to go after smaller jobs during economy downturn in order to keep our unit going until economy improved)"

"I loved my experience with Willbros. Just wished they could have found a place for me in the corporate office so I could have continued my employment with them."
