"For folks who want to advance their careers at TIAA-CREF and try different jobs, you will need to be in one of the hub offices or you will be extremely limited for any chance of doing something different."
What don't you like about working at TIAA-CREF?
"The company is very high on customer service which I agree is important. There are too many surveys sent to the client which directly affected certain EE's performance. The clients are in most cases too busy to constantly complete surveys. There needs to be a better method."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would reduce the number of useless reports and duplicate reporting."

"They provided great training and work environment. I enjoyed management and their open communication."

"This is a large firm and if you enjoy a large, corporate environment this is the place for you."

"It was a new department, so it wasn't as organized as I would have liked."

"I didn't have any issues with management. I was always treated very well."

"Be honest and polite. The job has a lot to do with staying positive with difficult customers."

"There was a distinct lack of communication between departments and employees."

"Management should be more open to employee opinions and suggestions."

"lack of communication, they need to appreciate the employees more and make them aware of their contributions to the company goal."

"Useless meetings and stupid extracurricular events plus unclear on what they expect from new roles and how to help people accomplish goals"
