"I like the casual dress code, the benefits package and the type of product we sell."

"Since REI is a Fortune 50 Best Places to Work company with a fun atmosphere, it is very competitive and there are relatively few job openings."

What don't you like about working at REI?

"Change happens too slowly and there are not enough growth opportunities."

"Encourage more innovation, upgrade systems more quickly and continue growth at current pace."

"There was a difficult period during the 1990's for about 10 years when the old management cleaned out middle and upper management people. The last old school CEO was the only hurdle left when I departed the company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be realistic about what you have to offer employees and quit sellng them on what doesn't get delivered."
