"I’ve worked for ReedGroup for 2 years. In that time I have found them to not be an ideal work environment."
"Culture of bullying and backstabbing with a heavy dose of favoritism. “Passing the buck” is common-if you do something, back yourself up in writing or with screenshots so you can prove it wasn’t you when the accusations start (they will). Discrimination and harassment are rampant and encouraged. No accountability for ops managers unless you provide a lawyer with evidence of a law being broken and have the lawyer intervene. Communication is non-existent, they expect business-wide changes to be spread via word-of-mouth. If your ops manager dislikes you, start looking for another job because you won’t be employed longer than it takes them to fabricate evidence against you. Ops managers will also harass you in an attempt to make you say or do something they can use against you. Zero opportunity for advancement and no replacements for people who quit/get fired-the workload is piled on whoever’s left with the expectation that they will complete all the work. No work/life balance-you are expected to work extra time upon demand. If you have a family, don’t apply here. If you are promoted, they will promise a higher salary, then force you to sign a contract for much less—and by force they will absolutely threaten to fire you if you do not sign immediately. There is no recourse if it is not documented in writing. It’s a toss-up between which is the bigger joke-HR’s lack of response to issues or the training. They will pay you as little as they can get away with since their eyes are on their bottom line, not on actually helping their clients. You definitely need a second job or a sideline to make ends meet since pay doesn’t cover cost of living. Work environment has definitely gotten worse since ReedGroup bought out the AonHewitt teams. ReedGroup is big on making promises they don’t intend to keep. Work here for the paycheck and the experience, then go elsewhere."
