"I would not apply for a job at Razorfish unless I really needed a job or experience. Other than that, the level of waste, inefficiency and micromanagement make this place hell for anyone with an independent mind. Conform to the yes-man mold here, or you'll sink."

What don't you like about working at Razorfish?

"Full of bureaucracy, poor pay. Management often expects unreasonable deadlines with no regard to work/life balance. Lots of optional meetings that management makes mandatory that do not provide value; in fact they only decrease productivity. Extreme micro-management. Benefits get worse every year, yet management pitches changes as a good thing--good for the company b/c they pay less for benefits, bad for employees b/c the burden is shifted to them."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop constant reorganizations. Stop unreasonable demands on employees. Stop pointless meetings where management talks simply to hear themselves speak. Provide better benefits."

"fun work environment, great clients, friendly co-workers, plenty of opportunities to learn"

"Make sure you can accommodate a flexible schedule. You have to be aggressive. You get out of it what you put in."

"my current role is limiting, silos, too may P&Ls, getting too big and losing the intimate feeling"

"RF values experience. Because of how quickly you are expected to start contributing, those who have a tendency to dive right in rather than watching and learning will be happier here."

"The projects themselves aren't always stimulating. But the pace and rapid change keep it interesting."

"we tend to be under-resourced and it falls on the backs of employees"

"ensure we are appropriately staffed and resourced for the projects being sold through, and try to keep your overworked employees engaged with opoprtunities to work on cool new projects"

"They hire tons of contractors and treat them horribly. Projects range from short to long. expect snarky emails when you need to take a day off"

"Very 90's company, hierarchal, management is easily threatened. They don't keep their word."

"Reconsider your chicago office space, the new space is awful. When you make promises to people keep them."
