"career growth is not well defined or structured. Resources are thin"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"honest communication, be open and say what you can and can't do. If the resources are thin find a way to make work fun."

What do you like about working at Ralcorp?

"It is a great atmosphere and the people are friendly. I am challenged with new projects constantly, and stay very busy. If I do not have the resources that I need, they will take action in order to get them. They put trust in me that I will get the job done successfully."

"Be yourself and be sure to stress what your strengths are. Do not be afraid to tell them your weaknesses."

What don't you like about working at Ralcorp?

"The location of the plant. It is 40 miles from Jonesboro, where I live."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They need to stay on top of operations better. Maintenance should have more qualified help in order to successfully keep the plant running efficiently."

What do you like about working at Ralcorp?

"I am in the AIPC (Pasta) division. I like the Lean culture we have built here over the last 4 years."

"Company is currently searching to find itself. It has recently shed its branded business and reiterated a committment to private labels; however, it continues to not focus on maximizing the inherent brand a customer feels in the private label they put on their shelves."

What don't you like about working at Ralcorp?

"The current reorganization has left the company not focused on customer value. My new role (Director of Emerging Technology) seems to be interesting; however, I am not confident the business will embrace and apply."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Ensure all groups focused on customer value and waste reduction vs paying lip service to the concept. Waste reduction is different than cost cutting. Waste reduction focuses on identifying and maximizing customer value which ensures a healthy bottom line to the shareholder."

"I really enjoy the group I work with at the Ogden facility."

"Please be well versed in LEAN theories and methodologies and be able to give examples of your participation in LEAN initiatives."

"I don't particularly like the management style of the group at our divisional headquarters"

"I would suggest they implementation of a robust Sales and Operation Planning process."
