"It being opened 24hrs and sometimes working really long hours"

"Manage your time wisely.. The day will fly by and there is always tons to do."

I feel that more time was spent patching software than it would have taken to rewrite certain components to increase functionality and reduce maintenance costs over the long term."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Once you become a manager, the next level (District Supervisor) is a pay cut. It doesn't make sense."

What don't you like about working at RaceTrac Petroleum?

"A company with what have you done for me lately mentality."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Give the employee at least a christmas or new year off. Not a single holiday of the year."

"Although I only worked for Racetrac for less than a year they did not have a good grasp of the working of an agile environment. Job titles did not necessarily equate with the tasks you were given."

"I had worked for RaceTrac for a year, and within the year I had some great experiences and not so good experiences. The best experience that I had is that they always took the time to train you in the store or at the corporate office, but the technology was a little dated. Bad experience is that they go back on their word. For instance they told me I was supposed to be in at this particular store for only 3 months but ended up staying at this location for a year."
