2.3 I had worked for RaceTrac for a year, and within the year I had some great experiences and not so good experiences. The best experience that I had is that they always took the time to train you in the store or at the corporate office, but the technology was a little dated. Bad experience is that they go back on their word. For instance they told me I was supposed to be in at this particular store for only 3 months but ended up staying at this location for a year.

3.5 Racetrack suffered from some management issues that included the propensity to continue patching older functionality that needed to be upgraded. I feel that more time was spent patching software than it would have taken to rewrite certain components to increase functionality and reduce maintenance costs over the long term.

Management could use some cleaning up, and Associates hardly ever were promoted - that needs to change, and hiring outside of the company for management needs to slow down just a bit at the moment.
