"Company offers support for an excellent post graduate qualification. the chartered accountancy qualification is widely regarded the world over and allows you to work in other countries. PwC supports working overseas which greatly was a strong reason for joining. Working for PwC gives an excellent start into the business world and builds a strong understanding of finance. It also allows exposure of how to run a successful finance dept because you get the change to watch so many different ones during the course of your career. The social side of work is good, because there are a large number of young people."

"I have been working at PwC full-time for less than a year Pros -Beautiful working environment and the newest trends in workplace wellness. I’ve worked for many companies, and working in their NY office is hands down the best. -Impressive social/celebration events. The firm feeds you very well. -Youthful working environment Cons busy season sucks. I’ve only gone through it once, but it felt like I lost myself. It’s hard to hold your ground when you need a break -transparency. At times I really wonder what conversations happen for ranking and staffing -work can be grueling mentally and emotionally at times. You get stronger and better, but it’s not daisies and butterflies"

"I worked for PwC from January 2016 through March 2020. Overall, the opportunity provided extensive learning opportunities as well as ample (and regular) room for promotion. A variety of clients in differing industries kept the job from getting stale and allowed for employees to become more well-rounded. On the other hand, the hours can be long (up to 90+ hours per week) for months at a time during the busy season. Overall, PwC teaches employees to be detail-oriented and hardworking in a fast-paced environment with exceptional colleagues and mentors."

"I worked at the Chicago office of PwC, LLP for six months (short-term contract). It was the best experience I've had so far in my contracting career. It started with being engaged with PwC by being included in firmwide emails of events/activities that I could get involved with. I was invited and encouraged to attend the holiday party. I felt that my input and suggestions were heard and valued. At the Sr. Associate level, I was properly assigned to projects and felt truly valued as a member of these projects. And, this firm values employee having balance in their work life. For example, team members are encouraged to take walking breaks throughout the day, gather for team outings, and had friendly health challenges."

"I started at PwC in 2018. While exposure to Fortune 500 companies is great, the visibility within the company is often poor, and morale can be low. It is no doubt an amazing opportunity, but one I am ready to move on from and apply my learning elsewhere."
