"Steer away if you have a desire to work with standard technologies, as opposed to custom frameworks. If rendering entire UIs by hand typing a custom XML file (not XHTML or XAML) sounds like fun, go for it!"

"I don't like the lack of career growth/introduction of new technologies."

"Do not micromanage. Employees getting paid 90K per year should not be spoon-fed tasks, and should be able to handle prioritization of tasks on their own."

"The people at Pulte Homes were very friendly in my department, and the work and processes were well planned. The company was very open to new techniques and open to positive change."

What don't you like about working at PulteGroup?

"It was a very corporate setting, which isn't always bad, but the structure created a ladder that was very competitive to advance and caused tensions between managers and departments. I was not directly involved, but it made it difficult for any personal advancement and didn't provide recognition for overly achieved tasks."

"I would suggest better control over knowledge of who is doing what, and availability to advance with less involvement in the internal politics of the company."
