Submit a Review"When I first started working there I didn't think I would end up developing a successful hospitality logistics plan for our guests and maintain strong relations with our sponsors. After 10 months working in this company, I could say that human relations is the basis of everything, specifically in a company whose market is people; therefore we work hard to make them feel satisfied with our events."

What do you like about working at Genesis Today?
"I have a job that is teaching me new ways to promote a business with no budget."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do your research and believe the information that is out there. Know that this is a great company for people just starting their careers, but people with expertise might want to think hard about working here if you want to move up."
What don't you like about working at Genesis Today?
"No room for growth, they have restructured three times in the 9 months I have worked there, and they have trust issues with their employees."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Trust the people you have hired to do the job they were h ired for. You hire some of the best people in the industry, but they average 9-12 months before leaving because they don't have the freedom to do their jobs without micro-managing."
What do you like about working at Fiesta Commission San Antonio?
"Fiesta San Antonio is a wonderful festival that helps people all over the city. I like that the Fiesta Commission oversees all aspects of this very important event."
What don't you like about working at Fiesta Commission San Antonio?
"The new CEO, who let me go in an officewide reorganization, is the wrong person for the job. He eliminated all transparency in the organization and worked to minimize the importance of staff."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Find a new CEO who will understand and appreciate the staff and volunteers of the organization."

What do you like about working at New York Fire Detection?
"Directly out of college, I was given a real opportunity to develop and lead a branch of this corporation that did not exist prior to my employment. I had complete creative control, and I had only one boss, the owner of the corporation, who went above and beyond to help me make this new division of the corporation as well as myself, a success."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be hungry; and be willing to work above and beyond 9 to 5; because many aspects of this job; and many folks you deal with, do not have a 9 to 5 schedule."
What don't you like about working at New York Fire Detection?
"There is nothing I didn't like about working at the company. Even the stress was rewarding."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My suggestions for the management would be to continue to implement all of the procedures and solutions I implemented so many years ago; because they were proven to work in regards to finding new customers, as well as retaining existing customers."

What do you like about working at Cablevision?
"First, I'd worked with 7-8 different companies owned by Cablevision across a wide variety of sports marketing and consumer approached at event, direct mail, advertising, media/press relations, etc. No two days were the same. I'd done fairly well for the company."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to suggestions, there were 2-3 that easily would have drawn $1,000,000s from the marketplace -- including the Spiderman, Sony, Clearview, Optimum Online, store events idea."
