"Good work-life balance when I was employed."
"I have only worked for the company for 3 months but am not happy at all. I am confused on why and how this has made so many top companies to work for lists. It may just be my team but it is completely micro managed and ALL over the place. I really can't do it anymore, unfortunately."
"Great company to begin a career, but limited elevated positions to grow past mid-senior level."
"I've worked for Protiviti for about 6 quarters now and they offer their employees to grow with different backgrounds."
"Protiviti is a great company. There is an advisor program that allows you to connect well with management as well as coworkers in order to focus on career goals and growth. In addition, there is a great work/life balance."
"I've interned at Protiviti after junior year in college and came back full time in Internal Audit Financial Advisory Practice. The company is very young and flexible to keep the employees happy! It's definitely a great company to launch a career!"
"Very good place to work, learn , and add value to yourself and to the company."
"Protiviti is a great company to work for if you are looking for experience and variety in work. It is a growing company and one can expect to grow with it."
"First and foremost, Protiviti IS NOT a management consulting firm. Protiviti performs internal audits and does it for companies on the cheap. Think you will be part of Protiviti's new Business Process Improvement (BPI) solution?! No, you will be doing internal audit. Think you will be doing IT consulting? Nope! You will be doing internal audit. Further, having an internal audit mindset permeates the entire Protiviti culture. It is risk averse, reactive and non-entrepreneurial. Protiviti compensation is significantly below its peers across all categories. Salary information from Glassdoor is right on. Protiviti counters that they offer a better work life balance than their peers. As a generality this may be true but Protiviti is still behind the eight ball in the ratio of hours worked vs pay earned. If you are former military, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT come to Protiviti. Nearly every veteran that is hired by Protiviti is gone within two years. Protiviti is not a cultural fit for veterans that have a bias for action, initiative and ambition. Further, there is a complete mismatch in skillsets and worldview. Veterans skillsets are not understood and because of this, their abilities are under-utilized. Protiviti's culture is one that embraces mediocrity. When Protiviti talks about work life balance, what they really mean is that they embrace non-ambitious and complacent people. Ambitious employees are often looked at with scorn and not rewarded with promotion or monetary increases. Protiviti is not a place for individuals who want to fast track themselves. It is also not a place that knows how to handle disagreements or conflict. Employees are heavily discouraged from any disagreement or deviation. From top to bottom, Protiviti is a systemically flawed organization. Do not spend the prime years of your working life wasting away at this organization."
"It's a good company to work in, but there are some areas they really need to pick up."
"I have had no issues to this point, would like tohave seen a little more communication regarding how the Government shut down will affect me, beyond that, seems good."
