"above average earnings below average environment"

What do you like about working at Progressive Gourmet?

"Good solid sales training and above average earnings"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Expect to be treated poorly to make decent money. Despite what we tell you in the interview process (it's a group interview) we hate it here. You will be lied to daily (it's part of the owners selling system). I've seen 4 employees (all adults, male and female) cry this year because of the way they are treated by management"

What don't you like about working at Progressive Gourmet?

"Company is poorly run and managed through fear and intimidation. You are expected to work 12+ hours a day and be available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Employees work in fear of loosing their job on any given day."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Treat your employees like people. The majority of us would quit tomorrow if the job market was better. Stop cutting corners on the products we make. We use to have the best products, the best people and the best service. You have forced good people out and fired good people. We have lost business due to quality issues that you refuse to acknowledge. Remember what made us a great company at one time."
