Submit a Review"There are differences in commision structure but overall we have the opportunity to compete, I would love a little more percentage on the sales and people we are able to place compared to other roles but for good reason we are a little bit lower. Other than that, it is highly rewarding to be able to place someone at their dream job and be compensated for it as well!"
"Sometimes it is a stressful job being a Professional Recruiter but the reward of getting people jobs is so rewarding it makes it worth it."
"I love being able to be in charge of my own success. The harder I work, the more benefits I receive. There isn't someone micro-managing me, and I love being able to work alongside amazing people!"
"The work is challenging but your manager wants you to succeed."
"I love that I control my work week. If I put in the effort and work, I will be successful. There is no hidden secret to being successful. The only negative thing is really out of our control. We rely on others to follow through with their word and do what they say they are going to do and that can be frustrating at times."
"There comes a lot of responsibility with being a professional recruiter. It is very important to not sweat the small stuff and remain positive and supportive throughout the day. Sometimes things occur that are not in your control, but you have to be able to keep pushing forward."
"I love being able to help people find a job. The most rewarding part of my job is getting to help others, especially the grateful ones! Also, I love being able to have a healthy work/life balance. Being a Professional Recruiter is going to be whatever you make of it. If you choose to be an 8-5 person you probably won't see the success you want. But if you decide to "grind" you will see the financial success you'd like to see. The downfall of being a Professional Recruiter is the commission structure. We top out on getting 8% commission. However, Account Managers can make up to 24%. In order for the Professional Recruiter/Account Manager dynamic to truly be a "partnership" I believe the commission structure needs to be adjusted. It doesn't necessarily need to be "even" but at the least it needs to be adjusted."
"Being a Professional Recruiter is a rewarding experience. The only part that is difficult is that so much of my success depends on the success of the Account Managers."
"After receiving a promotion before being with Insight Global for a year is a huge accomplishment. I love that as a Professional Recruiter I am still able to work with people everyday. I find joy in being able to place people at positions that they have been wanting for awhile now and I was the one that made an interview happen. I also love that I am still close with Company Managers and receive the positions in person with my account manager. I am constantly busy and always have room to grow and improve within this company."
"When I decided I wanted to be a Professional Recruiter I received nothing but positive praise and support in my career path. Yes, some days are harder than others but I know that I have people there to help me. The account managers support me and want me to be successful as well."
