"I love being detail oriented and the fact that I am always learning something new. The downside is that there are constant changes, so you really have to stay on top of any job related webinars, articles, or classes that will help."

What don't you like about working at Albany Medical Center Hospital?

"I don't get compensated for all that I do and all the time that I put in. I hardly take a day off, when my co-workers want the christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving and they want to spend time with there families, I'm usually the one who will workthe day before the holiday and the day after the holiday. When we had snow storms where my co-workers couldn't make it in, I was there holding down the fort. I didn't care because I loved my job and my co-workers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To make sure you know how to manage. I had a manager who was also my friend, she couldn't deal with her management position because she didn'th have the heart for the job. She didn't want to be on anyones badside, she wanted the title but couldn't deal with the actual responsibilities of being a manager."
