"Did not get the simplest tools needed to perform my job. MRP system, job tracking, tanks always had issues, no onsite chemist or maintenance dept, no inventories kept of supplies, always running out of everything. People are so frustrated they take random days off. An owner who does not understand that production can only ship out what orders have been entered expects more then available in the backlog. No P&L, no data is kept or shown to understand production capacity, nor is there any interest to do so."
"Surpass customer expectations."
"Loved the people and the work. I had moved up as far as I could go in this company."
"I love creating, training, and motivating teams and seeing the end result benefit the company in high quality product with a manufacturing cost. I would stay in production management with the right opportunity."
"I loved that the job was never boring. I worked with several projects at one time. I was never micro-managed, the president of the company trusted me to complete my projects in the given time. Dan, president valued my opinion and made me part of the whole production experience. There really is nothing to hate or dislike about Graphic Design and Production."
"Love the variety of projects and the vendors we work with. We order a lot of point of sale materials and promotional items which makes our day interesting learning new things each day."
"I love working with people, giving them the best training for success and share my knowledge with employees for their own benefit, and what I hate is to lay off personnel."
"I love this position because being a production man I love the challenges to meet up the deadlines of customers or get the work finished on time. It's my passion to get involved with day to day challenge. This also keeps my energy level intact and makes me stronger day by day."
"The position takes a large amount of responsibility and time."
"Love: I had the ability to use my experience to keep a production line moving. Much of my time was solving problems and answering questions. Hate: The hours were as long as 80 hours and it was hard to get time off."
"Didn't like I didn't have the opportunity to do my job because all changes had to be approve by the Director of operations and never had the time to see my concerns or he was a kind of doing my Job."
"I don't like when I have an idea to improve the processes to be rejected without data that supports that it is not going to work. I like to work with the people listen to their concerns about safety, tools they are using, what do they think will make their job easier and more productive."
