"I love the freedom and the adrenaline designing the next cutting edge product. I hate the responsibility to fire people and make decisions that can compromise the all company."
"This is what I want to do. I love the highs and lows of working at a startup. Obviously a large corporate environment provides a feeling of safety and security. Personally I don't worry about money, not because of privilege or circumstance, but it's something I chose not to have weigh my soul down. What this has meant so far is I've been able to rack my brain for novel solutions, and excitedly convey an idea for a pivot or development that actually makes it down the conveyer belt."
"It is a great feeling to create things that people might actually want to own. Being a designer is a nice mix of problem solving and creativity. You are constantly trying to figure out what people want and what they need even before they figure it out themselves."
