"I started out as a 3rd man in 2010 after my first 90 days I was moved up to 2nd man. After a year of working with the same foreman, he was telling the supervisor that I was ready to run my own crew. Well, fast forward 6 years, and I was finally promoted at a pay far less than many of the other new foremen and just a few dollars on the hour new 3rs men who knew nothing about the trade were making. After proving myself for almost 2 years after my promotion I was given 2 dollars on the hour it wasn't till I had to leave that they finally offered me what I was worth as a foreman who had been doing the same job as I in more time was making so I left."

"Even though I have only worked for Price Brothers for a little under a year they have proved to be a great company to work for. They have 2 shops in the Charlotte area a north shop and south shop. They employ over 500 people and have over 150 trucks on the road everyday! Between the incentive bonuses and the great benefits it's hard to walk away from this company."

"Be honest with your abilities, keep it short and sweet. They are good people with good intentions and they just want the best they can get for as little money as possible."

What don't you like about working at Price Brothers?

"They don't understand construction and don't appreciate what I do. Have no support staff other than a contracts administrator."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Nothing really; they are a development company who's not commited to the building industry."
