"I learned a new business, although the chemistry behind it, I had some familiarity with. My supervisor was supportive for about my first 4-5 months at the company, but then things started to change. My 6 month review was given to me at 9 months, and it was by far the worst review I've had in my life. I believe part of the issue was business being down with covid, and part of the issue was that the technical director had no chemistry training. I was given a short time frame to complete a staggering amount of work after my review. I completed about 90% of it. Much of it had little to do with actual product development. I solved problems for the company that had been plaguing them for over 10 years, and began scaling up new products, which hadn't been done in over 10 years. In the middle of scale-ups I was let go, possibly because the new products were greatly improved over their standard products, which often were either difficult to manufacture, or did not meet actual specifications that they were selling them for. The culture their was largely based on fear, and I wasn't amenable to that."

"Precix was a small company with a close knit environment. People were caring and cooperative, but the company was a little behind the technological curve because of it's smaller size. All in all, a great place to work."
