"the change of shifts and sometime no warning for shifts changes"

"prepare projects ahead and allow employees to participate in planing"
What do you like about working at NYC Police Department?
"every thing was excellent but I retired because of the cold weather and because I purchase a house in Florida and I wanted to be closed to my family that lives in South Florida"

"Dress professionally for the psychological interview and be honest with the psychologist and bring all your papers with you and all previous jobs, schools you attended and references."

"I love everything about this company . No complaints and I get along very well with my co workers and subordinates."

"No suggestion everything was done at a professional level and any issues that you may have were solve immediately."

"I love dealing with the public in a law enforcement capacity. I love the job and the sense of satisfaction you gain by putting yourself in the line of danger by protecting the public."

"It is a military environment and they look for a sharp appearance and professional attitude."

"I do not like the inherent danger that comes with being a Police Officer or the fact that many people dislike or hate you just for the uniform you wear."

"There are many options available for funding that would make the job safer and easier."

"I loved the job I did as a Law Enforcement Officer. I loved dealing with the public."

"Conducting law enforcement duties in inherently dangerous and I do not like the sense of impending doom in some circumstances."

"Think of different ways to raise money for the police department that could be fun as fund raisers."

"Very rewarding place to work. Get to catch the bad guys. Great coworkers. Supportive community for computer forensics and Internet Crime."

"Be open and honest and go into it knowing that the City is in financial trouble."
What don't you like about working at Stamford Police Department?
"City does not support the department financially. Headquarters building is obsolete and lacks proper forensics lab. Very little chances for advancement."

"Push the city harder for more funding for the police department overall. Put money in the budget for forensic equipment and software."

"Secure Employment, the people I work with are outstanding, the only reason I'm there"

"No Pay raises and benefits are being cut, if you want a start up for a future else where then apply"

"Management, poor equipment, changing policies to suit the command staff"

"Listen to your people, stop cutting the benefits, give us raises like everyone is getting"
