If you are looking to provide excellent customer service and make people feel welcomes, this is a place to work. It is definitely a family-like place to work and every day at work is fun. one of the best parts is one Friday a month, the Planet Fitness business pays for lunch for the whole staff."

"STOP WHILE YOU CAN!! DON'T apply!...ONLY if you want a Temperley job. Planet Fitness is not so pleasant, it is not a fair workplace to work for. ( Buford GA location) Not the main managers there, but the assistant manager Marchelle Teague and higher up(which is Mr. Paker) could care less about what you do for this company. They are super rude, pocketing bonuses, they treat employees with no respect. Planet fitness will fire you for every little thing or any little thing you do. They for get the good, If you don't read their scripts right! you are fired, if you don't have a name tag not clock in yet, you are fired!. If you walk in the building holding your belongings ready to punch in you are fired! or It's a deduction for that location. Deduction! Deduction! That all they care about. At Planet Fitness you are a secretary, you have to show around the gym, you a maintenance, a housekeeper. You are your own security gaurd you are not protect at night, name it you are all, for $9.50 and .25 is added every 3 months. This company have so much rules than a hospital that have 5,000+ employees. The con, If you don't have a staff to release you when your shift is over, you are stuck there for a full shift, its not over time tho. Plant fitness take advantage on students or young employees that have no job experience. You show well, think it's the best job ever!...NOT! so true."

"I want to point to my previous employer. I spent 8 years working for SCS Construction. In that time I supported many duties. I managed multiple projects that included but are not limited to, big box, restaurant, retailers, multi-use, education, and many more. I excelled at document oversight, budgeting, scheduling, as well as in-time delivery. Additionally I mentored project engineers and trained interns along with inexperienced project managers. I believe my experience would be an asset."

"I worked for Planet Fitness for almost 2 years. I had been with Planet Fitness before and went back because, at the time, I enjoyed it so much. At the beginning of my time there, the management was great. Then it turned to complete crap when we got new management constantly. The whole place is full of favoritism and lies. Nothing ever was solved in an appropriate way. But the most atrocious thing was when they let me go after going on 2 years with being with the company. They claimed that I had “writeups”, but never once did I ever receive a writeup or sign one. That being said, after I was terminated they wouldn’t let me see my file or have copies of my file when I asked for it. Also, I never received termination papers like I was supposed to. I put everything I had into the place. I'm currently in school and still never missed one day. Way back when I first started I may have gone in late because of snow, but I always went in and stayed later to make up my time. I was lied to by management and ignored when complaints were made. Staff is talked down to by higher-ups. They require high member numbers all while refusing to let us earn any commission off the sales. How about giving something for the staff to work towards? Show appreciation to your staff. The staff who stay and don’t leave after 2 weeks or a month at most get treated with more respect than the dedicated staff that actually stay for a year or two. Instead of standing back and favoriting the staff, that you want to be your “friend”, how about do your job of management and do what’s best for your company. "Home of the Judgment Free Zone" is a joke."

"DO NOT WORK HERE THEY DON'T WANT TO PAY YOU. When I didn't receive my last paycheck deposit the assistant manager told me he wasn't motivated to find out why because I called out just one day due to a circumstance beyond my control. When I told him it's unacceptable to have to wait an entire weekend for pay that I earned 3 weeks ago he said, "Well, I didn't really appreciate what you did the other weekend so no, there isn't anything I can do to help you." Basically he decided HE DIDN'T CARE IF I GOT PAID BECAUSE OF A PERSONAL GRUDGE. When I tried to give a generous 3 weeks notice, he fired me on the spot and now he DOESN'T CARE IF I GET PAID. And I am NOT the only employee who has had pay issues with them. DO NOT WORK HERE."

"Lead by fear, scorch the Earth, fire everyone. Every mistake or failure is met with, "I should fire you for this." Should be met with, "This was your response, do this instead, so we don't find this outcome." It comes from the top from the COO. The toxic environment is why I walked as a manager."

"The corporate office is run like a high school popularity contest. The marketing department is full of the "popular people" who do the least work for the most money & reward. Upper management is entitled while lacking even the most basic understanding of day-to-day operations. Favoritism is rampant, and there's an underlying current of "do whatever it takes to get to the top." The company's recent growth has resulted in every decision being made by throwing money/people at a problem, instead of solving it with logic or any long-term thought. Third part vendors are treated abysmally. It's telling when the majority of the long-term employees all started to leave en masse. Joining them in leaving was the best thing I did there."

"Have been with the company for less than a year, but I must say, awesome place to work! Get a free membership with guest privileges, decent pay, and same hours every week! Only con would be its 35 hours per week as oppose to 40 or more. Other than that, wonderful place to work and grow as a trainer!"
