"Pinnacle exploited and Abused its Black Workers"

What do you like about working at Pinnacle Technical Resources?

"I was a contractor working for AT&T through Pinnacle Technical Resources. Pay started at $17.00 for the Advanced Technical Support I provided."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Take the job if you are truly desperate other than that run in the opposite direction."

What don't you like about working at Pinnacle Technical Resources?

"AT&T decided to stop hiring its own permanent workers at the same time the company decided that the contractors would no longer be offered regular, full time jobs with the company once our three years were up. We were then informed by Pinnacle Technical Resources we would be permanent employees of the temp agency. Pinnacle scored a big contract to handle AT&T Uverse support. However, the company started abusing the employees. Once they secured the contract and beat out all other temp agencies, they approached us with a new contract that dropped our pay from $17 per hour down to $11 and $12 per hour. We had to take it or quit. Then the company started hiring more and more people as fill ins when the seats weren't available and callously instructed their managers to find reasons to fire the $17.00 per hour people in favor of the $11.00 per hour people. The temp managers, all inexperienced and being paid at only $16 per hour, started terminating good employees over any infraction. They sometimes went back months in an employees record to find things to terminate the employee for. Even issues with mistakes that were resolved. Even things that were caused by the employee being given bad information from the management. The company then proceeded to lie to the unemployment office when they suddenly fired 40% of their staff due to a work shortage like all the people were bad people. The unemployment office paid the claims anyway.AT&T was very abusive as well in that they forced the temp employees to work mandatory overtime and did not give these people sufficient breaks. The calls were automated and people sitting for so many hours unable to move became ill, legs and ankles swelling and started to quit. The company employed racist strategies in how quickly they promoted white employees over minority employees. The company and AT&T both have a problem with ethics."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Quit because someone else can do your jobs better and treat your employees better."
