"I interned with this company for 3 summers in the IS depart and the experiences were always good. I was specifically involved in security so I can't mention specifics but the work was challenging and fun. The people were kind, friendly, helpful, and easy to get along with."
"Pros: Philadelphia Gas Works is a wonderful company to work for! With 100% paid health benefits and tuition reimbursement you cant go wrong. People are friendly.Cons: Be very careful of the politics here, everyone seems to have family ties... which could breed nepotism. If you're not someone's brother, sister, mother, grandchild, etc. you have to work extra hard to get your work-related requests fulfilled. "Nothing about the work. It's a great place... BUT There is a requirement that you must establish residency in the city of Philadelphia within 1 year of employment. That is the main reason I left the company."

"Get rid of the residency requirement to attract and retain better talent. I would love to return to work there. I thought the working environment and culture were a good fit."
