Submit a Review"It is a free environment for me to conduct the research based on the problems we have in our lab. I love the way that I can control the topic and the instructor is willing to listen to our opinion. Unfortunately, it is a little hard to receive relative knowledge easily since all the professors are in different domains."
"I love doing PhD research because I'm at the cutting edge and am developing new technologies. The thing I hate about it is the internal politics among faculty members. However, that comes with the fact that CMU is a top notch research university. Overall, I believe that I grew both as a person and as an engineer during the five years that it took me to earn my PhD."
