"Only work here if you don't need to make a lot of money. Pay is horrible. One of the worst in the country. I'm an Assistant Manager and barely make above minimum wage. Sad part is I've been with the company for years."
"I started at Peebles on December 1, 2012 as a temporary seasonal employee and on December 24, 2012 I was hired as a part-time employee. Peebles is a great place to work. Managers and other staff are all friendly and courteous."

"Good people, good environment. I was trained to use the languages needed and given time to get up to speed."

"The company has changed. It is now just a purchasing and distribution point controlled by a home office in Houston."
What don't you like about working at Peebles?
"I received no systems training. I had to figure out what I needed to know by reading the batch CL's or using a utility called Hawkeye. I didn't find Hawkeye very useful."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I have no expertise in management so I would not presume to suggest anything."

"Very close to where I live. Our team was great but parent company was not."

"Stage Stores parent company was not very upfront with us when taking control. We were laid off with no notice."
