"Was outsourced for cheaper Indian labor, management had no clue what my job was, no advancement opportunities."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Spend time in the role you're managing, see things and as if if you're in your employee's shoes."

What do you like about working at Applied Underwriters?

"I liked the people, and it gave a good insight to office work. There was an excellent training program."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you like working on your own with complex data entry its a good fit, but there is minmal socialization and special tasks."

What don't you like about working at Applied Underwriters?

"Everything you do is reviewed, and everything on every payroll is scrutinized. You are judged based on your speed and accuracy, you are sent your statistics and must meet 98% accuracy standards."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To ease up on things that can be edited or updayed later, like new hire information that special taxes don't apply to. Minimalize your calls to clients they seem annoyed when you call them like they have been called to much. Take more input from your employees they are smart people that have great potential."
