"Difficult to maintain work-life balance, not allowed to hire enough people to do the job, promote yes-men instead of people with capabilities, inconsistent HR policy, unfair hiring and promotion practice."

"Stop nepotism hiring and promotion practice, hire more engineers and technicians, instead of project and program managers."

"It's a very stable company. Most co-workers are nice and pleasant."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Unless you cannot find job elsewhere, don't work here. If this is your only option, be very prepared for all the HR type questions, don't worry too much about technical things. Most managers are not all that technically sound to be able to figure you out."

What don't you like about working at Parker Hannifin?

"A complete sweatshop. Long hours, low pay, dificult to maintain work-life balance, no recognition for employee going above and beyond, nepotism, promote mostly yes-men, do not value employee's technical abilities even though it's an engineering company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop nepotism. Try to promote within instead. Get some backbone and stand up for your employees once a while."
