"The heat! But after awhile it became bearable and I was able to work there."

"Parker Hannifin is too big with too many divisions, which challenges them to manage them all."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make each division more independent of the mother corporation. Keeping some control of some business affairs local is better."

"It used to be a great place to work. Management was terrible."

"I would never suggest anyone to work for this company."

What don't you like about working at Parker Hannifin?

"Management shipped everything to Mexico and China. They were not able to change their business model to adjust to changes in work."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Review your policy, it needs a major overhaul. Main reason for being upset is a lot of people still working who are there only because of race. Certain people have been wrote up/disciplined a hundred times, but are still there. I have never been written up for anything and have proven myself to be an excellent worker, but I am laid off only due to seniority."

"The people are really nice. I'm getting better at some aspects of my job."

"Make sure that this is what you want to do and take a lot of holidays off before you start."

What don't you like about working at Parker Hannifin?

"I have no idea what I'm doing. Some of the people there are really arrogant. A lot of people are under crazy amounts of stress. There are no creative outlets. There's not a lot of collaboration between my coworkers and I on projects. Everyone eats lunch at their desks."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make things more streamlined, more comfortable, change the damn music. Get better training and process information."

"To have a degree and as many certifications as possible and to be flexible to do other activities."

"The opportunity for upward movement in other areas of the company which planners interact and can offer many benefits in negotiations of contracts."

"To unleash many of the requirements to get moved into the correct areas. Many of the job titles and requirements do not match."

"Parker is good company overall, very focused to engineering and process."

"The division I work for has limited resources that are harmpering my ability to accomlish goals."

"Invest in the business to prepare completely for customers before delivering new products."

"I am not displeased with Parker. It is a good place to work and I would recommend it to anyone."

"As previously mentioned Parker is a great place to work with a solid leadership team."

"Most of the people I work with and have the opportunity to train are outstanding individuals. The compensation is fair, and I have had a fair number of opportunities to test and develop my skills."

"It has been, and in many ways is still great company. It is lean, bordering on anorexic, and most managers don't really know their staff as they used to. There are many great opportunities, but be selective."

What don't you like about working at Parker Hannifin?

"The managers all seem to run the company by the spreadsheet. They rarely look past the numbers to see what is happening beyond their offices."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Go out into the world and truly sit down with customers. Talk to your employees at the lowest levels. They will tell you things the numbers can't. Most would forgo some profit sharing if it would allow more staff to be hired to better distribute the work."
