"not competitive pay and too much politics."
"Joined Oracle through acquisition over 10 years ago. Company is poorly managed with limited and fragmented focus. Compensation and job growth are non-existing. Conducts a systemic reduction in force each quarter regardless of financial performance targeting highest paid and oldest workers. Product offering sub-par to competition and customer focus is through intimidation and threat of litigation. Frantically attempting to re-invent it's culture. With little success. There are a few good developers hanging on, but company is in desperate need of Executive reorganization. Founder and CEO need support from new and connected Executive team."
"Great to start your career, but don't stay too long because progression is almost nonexistent, and upper management does not care about you. The Oracle brand is not something I want to be represented by."
"I work for Oracle for almost four years now. Leader in Database business, strong competitor in cloud business. In a nutshell, a large corporation with its pluses and minuses. Corporate culture is strong, business pace is demanding. Overall, a good place to work and develop your career."
"Leadership is disconnected with both the industry it is trying to support and its employees who are trying to support it. Career and professional gowth is virtually non existent."
"A lot of good people to work with. Knowledge expansion is great."
"Oracle has a lot of great people working for them. It allows you to grow your career and expand your knowledge."
"I've worked for Oracle for over 10 years. It is a big company with a big company culture so you need to be able to work with a small team as well as navigate in a larger community. You also need to be a self-starter to solve problems on your own, as well as work with a top-down management culture. The people are great and there is opportunity for growth."
"I've worked for Oracle since 2015. I have found that the companies diversity is vast, with over 140,000 employees world wide. Room for growth is minimal, and salary increases are less than the country average. Company culture is awesome, with a great co-workers willing to go the extra mile. Very fast paced, with changes weekly. Must be open to changes in the work environment and to customers constantly."
"The team had a great culture. However, I was recently laid off and it was not for performance but organizational change."
